OK … I had been keeping quiet about this until now for personal reasons … but now it’s time to go and celebrate!

This year, I was nominated for the Spirit of Enterprise Award - An award given out to entrepreneurs and innovators. Honestly, I don’t even know how one gets nominated … but when an interviewer called me to chat, I was pleasantly surprised!

It was a good chat. And the interviewer asked a lot of questions - that made me reflect on my own Entrepreneur’s Journey. You see, in the daily grind of running a business, working with clients, getting new business and planning the business’s development …

I often forget …

I often forget the reasons why I’m here in the first place (It’s because I’ve always dreamed of being different, so I started a business instead of a job).

I often forget why I am important to different people (One of the few NUS freshies to start up, One of the few full-time Internet Marketer Entrepreneurs, and need to be an inspiration to these people.

I often forget that I actually had fairly humble beginings (No other businessman in my family, Was a mediocre student back in school … Before doing well in Uni).

I often forget about my achievements (Great university achievements, Awesome friends, A chance to see the world in my youth, Started a profitable business at 21)

And I often forget who my original inspiration was (my daddy ).

So, win or lose … I’m cherish these reflections from this whole SoE experience. Nevertheless, I’m gonna give it a good shot to get enough votes to get selected!

So, I need my friends now!
